hello there,

I came across this poster while searching for another one to be posted up here and this caught my eye. The main purpose for this poster to be created is clearly shown by what is the dominance here. The eyes will definitely go to the figure first. Which is to encourage people to cycle to work instead of driving. This is doing our part to save Mother Earth. The poster also have a good alignment, the information are not cramped up together. There is also contrast here because the background is dark but they coloured the Earth so as to emphasize on the purpose or rather the message of the poster. I think this poster succeed in spreading out their message to the audience.

I (Principles Of Design)

hello there,

I have never done anything like this before so here we go, I hope I'm doing this right!

I like how the colours are used in this poster. I'm sure just by looking at the colours, we would all be able to know who that cartoon is. This poster also fulfils the description of what the principle, balance is about as the weight is evenly distributed. Hence, symmetrical. It also describes alignment because the words are all aligned at center and thus, it doesn't make the poster look too overwhelmed with information. To emphasize that this poster is about the movie, Monsters Inc, they bold the title along with the logo of the movie and make it of a different colour from the background. This shows that there is a contrast. I conclude that this poster is well-made. *thumbs-up*(Fun fact: This movie was and still is one of my favourite childhood movies)
